Lihui Wang received a Bachelor degree in 2007 from the Shenyang University of Technology (China), a Master degree in 2009 from Northeastern University (China), and then he obtained a MEXT grant to pursue further study at the University of Tokyo (Japan). After he received a Ph.D. degree in 2014, he worked as a project researcher and then as a project assistant professor at the same university till 2019. He is currently a professor at Guangdong Academy of Sciences, China. His research was endowed with a Special Prize from ACM SIGGRAPH, Innovative Technologies 2019 and a Sponsor Award from the Digital Content Association of Japan. His research interests include variable focus optics, high-speed machine vision, interactive display, dynamic projection mapping, the Opto-Electro-Mechanical system design and its applications.
